Art classes taught in Aptos, CA, by artist Ross Sheehan with a focus on Psychogeography. Psychogeographic Art can be created from the reaction of how places make us feel. Exploring your city, town, seascape, natural areas and edgelands through walking can act as catalyst for creating art. The School of Psychogeographic Art concentrates on reimagining the buildings, seascapes, parks, landmarks, streets, architecture and forgotten spaces. Students will be introduced to a brief history of Psychogeography and experiment with what it means to them as we explore Seascape Village and surrounding natural areas in Aptos, CA, and create art.
