At The Colorful Palette we offer art classes to students of all ages and abilities. As painters, and a husband-and-wife team living in Cape May, we passionately believe that art is good for the soul. With our mantra "Art for All" we strive to make our art classes fun and accessible. Our artists are guided through the use of tempera and watercolor paint, pencil, charcoal and collage. Students are encouraged to explore their imaginations as well as the world around them. Lessons are drawn from the rich history that art has to offer and reinforced with a plentiful library. Joel Adas taught art for 30 years in New Jersey and NYC, and in 2019 Helen Selsdon joined forces with him, teaching children and seniors in the Bronx and Brooklyn.
