MTSU's Art and Design offers degrees in Visual Arts, Art History, Art Education, Graphic Design, and Studio Art. There are 300 art majors, and 1,000 non-majors enrolled, with 20 full-time faculty members. Among the many opportunities afforded students is the use of technology. Every teaching area has technology at its fingertips with well-appointed, dedicated art and design computer labs, ergonomic workstations, and over 20 master classrooms. The 1st-floor of Todd Hall houses sculpture, ceramics, drawing, 3D Design, and a woodshop. The 2nd-floor is painting, art education, art history, 2D Design, Todd Art Gallery, and two student galleries, and one pop-up exhibit space. The 3rd-floor houses graphic design, print media, and illustration.
